Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver - Nightshift
About Us: Bullet Express is seeking a experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you! This position is Tuesday to Saturday 2.30am / 3am start each day. You will rotate weekly through 6 x routes . Glasgow , Lanarkshire, Perth , Edinburgh , Aberdeen and Inverness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with unload of 2 x trailers nightly using Cantilever Tail Lift
Assisting with loading delivery vehicles using Cantilever Tail Lift
Providing up to date delivery information / pictures via Whatsapp Group
Securely opening and closing customer premises
Delivering and Collecting any returns required via Cantilever Tail Lift
Accurately complete and submit all work-related paperwork at the end of each shift.
Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
Report any non-conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.
Ensure timely deliveries and maintain the integrity of goods during transit and delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Personal Qualities:
Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
Experience in power pallet truck.
Experience in electronic delivery equipment.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment.
Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
Licence/Certification:
Digital Tacho Card (Required)
Appropriate Driving License (Required)
Driver CPC (Required)
Comprehensive knowledge of driver regulations (Required)
