Bullet Express is looking for an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator to join our busy PM team at our Bothwell site.
This is a key role within our operation. The PM shift is responsible for processing, sorting and preparing freight for onward movement, and we are looking for someone who understands that Health & Safety, attention to detail and teamwork are essential in keeping the operation running smoothly.

You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and managers, playing a vital role in ensuring freight is handled safely, accurately and efficiently while helping us keep freight moving across the UK and Europe.
Your responsibilities will include:
Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
Moving and stacking pallets and freight using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
Sorting and allocating freight to the correct routes, trunks and vehicles.
Checking freight carefully to ensure it is in the correct location before loading.
Carrying out accurate scanning and data capture.
Checking labels, pallet quantities and freight information to ensure accuracy.
Identifying and reporting damaged, incorrectly labelled or misallocated freight.
Preparing and organising freight for onward trunk movements.
Ensuring vehicles are loaded correctly and ready to depart on schedule.
Maintaining high standards of warehouse and yard cleanliness.
Carrying out equipment checks and reporting faults or defects promptly.
Following all site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Working closely with colleagues to ensure the PM operation runs safely and efficiently.
Health & Safety is a major focus of this role.
Working safely is not optional. You will be expected to follow all site procedures, operate forklifts and warehouse equipment responsibly and remain aware of colleagues, vehicles and other activity around you at all times.
You must be confident reporting hazards, damaged equipment, unsafe practices or anything else that could compromise the safety of yourself or others.
Accuracy is extremely important within our PM warehouse operation.
Freight must be scanned, checked, sorted and loaded correctly. Small mistakes can result in freight being misrouted, delayed or loaded onto the wrong trunk or vehicle.
We are therefore looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right first time and understands the importance of carrying out checks thoroughly, even when working under pressure.

Warehouse Colleagues
Customers, suppliers and subcontractors when required
A valid Forklift Licence is essential for this position.
You should also have:
Previous hands-on forklift experience.
Experience working within a busy warehouse environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
A strong understanding of Health & Safety.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
Good communication and time-management skills.
The ability to work under pressure without compromising safety or accuracy.
A willingness to support colleagues and the wider operation when required.
A responsible approach to equipment and freight handling.
Success in this role means:
